Can Violence Achieve Peace??? (Part 3/3)

How can we achieve peace with violence in our minds???????? Real peace comes from the heart. If our hearts are not peaceful, then fighting for it would be useless. In this world today, we are having murderous wars and violence in the name of peace. But have we really been able to achieve it. No we have not. And we will continue not to achieve peace with hatred for others in out hearts. To gain peace we need to love ourselves and love the world around us. But primarily, to love we need to know ourselves. We need to know who we are. Once we cross that stage, world peace is no problem to achieve and I assure you that it will not need violence because we wont be forcing peace on people but we will be achieving it through love care and deep understanding of our selves, the people and the world around us.

I would like to end this with a quote by Hafsat Abiola, who said that, “Peace comes from being able to contribute the best that we have, and all that we are, toward creating a world that supports everyone. But it is also securing the space for others to contribute the best that they have and all that they are”. Without a need of violence! Therefore, Violence cannot achieve peace.
